Safety is the cornerstone of Tru-Check’s values and is fundamental to the success of our company and the projects our customers entrust to us.

We believe the only success worth achieving is the success that is built on safety; and we are committed to providing the tools, equipment, training, and guidance needed to help Tru-Check’s employees work safely every day.

We continuously strive to improve our safety practices and we dedicate significant resources to providing a safe work environment for our employees. In addition, we are actively involved in training the future workforce to ensure that safety remains the top focus of our industry. Safety training includes both classroom and field training. We use videos, group discussions, installation manuals, proper use of personal protection equipment (PPE) and tools, standard industry practices, information from the National Safety Council, and other sources.

Tru-Check has the highest regard for safe employees. We strive to constantly improve our Safety Program, and continue to see that safety, quality, and production go hand in hand. Our Recordable Incident rate (REC) and Chargeable Vehicle Accident (CVA) Incident rate continue to improve.

Any employee who fails to meet the Safety Program guidelines will be issued a sequence of verbal and written correction notices. Any unsafe practices that persist will result in dismissal.

Safety training includes both classroom and field training. We use videos, group discussions, installation manuals, proper use of personal protection equipment (PPE) and tools, standard industry practices, information from the National Safety Council, and other sources.

Safety is priority #1. We utilize many in-house safety training programs and incentives, but we also welcome additional input from our utility partners’ safety and training coordinators. We provide PPE equipment to all of our employees. This equipment includes but is not limited to: FR clothing, hardhats with safety face shields, rubber electrical gloves with leather protectors, voltage testers, and insulated tools.
